On Monday, October 26, 2015, the fire department was dispatched at 5:44am for a commercial structure fire at the Webb particle board plant on Jackson Street. 302 requested Engine 1’s crew to pull one attack line to extinguish the sawdust, which had ignited on the silo. Firefighters investigated, and remained on scene for less than an hour. The factory sustained minimal damage.
