On Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 7:42pm, the Galax Fire Department was dispatched for a possible structure fire at 97 Kenbrook Drive. When the family returned home from town, they discovered the fire. The father was able to extinguish the fire. Firefighters removed burnt debris from the residence. The fire is believed to be electrical in nature, and the property sustained minor damage. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Burnett was in charge of the scene.
