On Sunday, February 15, 2015, at 1:50pm, the Galax Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Glendale Road and Aldred Lane in the Gladeville community for a power pole fire. Galax Fire secured the scene until AEP could arrive. The fire caused a brief outage, which was quickly restored by AEP.
