Welcome to the Galax Fire Department

The Galax Fire Department proudly serves the city of Galax, Grayson County, and Carroll County Virginia. We also provide mutual aide to various other agencies in Carroll County and Grayson County Virginia and Alleghany County and Surry County in North Carolina. At the Galax Fire Department we pride ourselves on the accomplishments of those who came before us, and strive to provide the same quality of community service and protection that our forefathers have since 1912.
