On Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 5:39pm, the Galax Fire Department responded to the 2400 block of Peaks Mountain Road for a power pole fire. Engine 3 investigated the area, and remained on scene until AEP crews arrived. All units were back at the station shortly before 7pm.
