On Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 3:25pm, the department was dispatched to assist Galax Grayson EMS with a two vehicle accident with a fluid leak on Mt. Vale Road. Upon firefighters arrival, they found a small fluid leak. Firefighters also disabled the battery of one of the vehicles. Galax Grayson EMS transported patients with injuries. The Galax Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Department assisted on scene. The Virginia State Police investigated the accident.
