On Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11:10am, the department was dispatched to a brush fire at 820 S Main Street. Upon fire officers arrival, he found a small brush fire travelling up a steep bank. Subjects were clearing an area of land for a future business site. Firefighters used booster lines and rakes from Brush 14 and Wagon 9 to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported, and the department remained on scene for less than an hour.
