On Sunday, November 18, 2012, at 5:41am, the department was dispatched for a possible trailer fire on Pecan Drive off Walnut Street. Upon a members arrival, the fire was determined to be an outbuilding. Attack crews used Engine 2’s bumper line to extinguish the blaze. Pipers Gap Rescue was dispatched, but cancelled while en route. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department investigated the fire. The department remained on scene for approximately a half an hour.
