Galax Fire responded at 10:08pm, on Thursday, September 13th, 2nd tier for a working structure fire in Low Gap. Engine 2 and Tanker 10 responded to 127 Spurlin Lane to assist Skull Camp Fire. Engine 2 was the 2nd unit to arrive on scene. Upon arrival, members found a heavily involved single wide trailer. Units remained on the scene for approximately one hour. The home belonging to Ronald D Poole was a total loss. Mr. Poole's son, Ronald Nelson Poole, occupied the residence. No one was at home at the time of the fire.
