On Saturday, August 4th around 1:00 pm, GFD responded to a
vehicle fire on Rt 89 near the Blue Ridge Parkway. The owners
were able to get the vehicle off the road and into the parking lot.
Upon Engine 3's arrival, the vehicle was fully involved. Members
attacked and extinguished the fire using the bumper line. A rollback
responded to the scene, and the fire department cleared.
